JBLM Composting Facility
YARD WASTE – DROP OFF
Yard waste is accepted, free of charge, from JBLM military units and organizations. Only clean, chipped wood is accepted from contractors, on a case-by-case, precoordinated basis.

PRODUCT PICK-UP
PRODUCT– PICK UP
Subject to availability, compost and mulch products are free of charge, for use by JBLM military units, organizations and contractors on JBLM projects only.
1) Fill out and submit a Material Request Form signed by a Commander, First Sergeant, Senior Master Sergeant or program manager.
2) Earthworks personnel will approve and schedule your pickup.
3) Bring your military or government vehicle (no personal vehicles allowed).
All material requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance for approval and scheduling.

BORROW SOURCE AREAS
Borrow Source area use is controlled and authorized by JBLM Directorate of Public Works Environmental Division (DPW/ED).
Permits are issued for Pit use through the Department of Public Works Solid Waste Program Manager, call 253-966-1781.
