Organizers extend LEADER application deadline
The deadline for applications to the LEADER Program has been extended to Nov. 30 so that people who are interesting in participating have more time to complete their packets for submission.

What is the LEADER Program?
The Leader Enhancement and Developmental Education Requirements (LEADER) Program is designed to educate, cultivate, and motivate emerging Fort Drum civilian leaders. The program will provide participants an interactive opportunity to develop, emerge, advance, and to practice their leadership skills while equipping them with the essential skills, knowledge, and abilities that directly improve their leadership effectiveness.
The LEADER Program is open to permanent GS-5 to GS-10 (or equivalent) employees, and GS-11 (or equivalent) employees will be considered by exception of current leadership / supervisory role.
The Workforce Development staff will host LEADER information sessions in which they will explain the program, its requirements and the application process.
Sessions will be conducted from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 17, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 19, and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 24. All sessions will be conducted in Bldg. 219, Lewis Avenue.
No preregistration is required to attend. Attendance is not a required for application submission; however, it is highly encouraged.
