(May 25, 2023) – AmeriCU Credit Union’s Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert will celebrate its 11th year as part of Fort Drum Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation’s Mountainfest, featuring country music artists Gabby Barrett as headliner and Maddie and Tae as the opening act.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held June 21. Gates will open at noon for a day filled with food, fun, and great music. The concert will start at 7 p.m.

AmeriCU Credit Union brings forth this special event as a tribute and expression of gratitude to the brave Soldiers of the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division (LI), their families, and community, for their selfless sacrifices in service to our nation.

Country music sensation Gabby Barrett is captivating audiences with her multi-platinum success. Setting the charts ablaze, her debut single “I Hope” soared to the top three on the Billboard Hot 100. Maddie and Tae first broke out in 2013 with their Platinum-selling smash, “Girl In A Country Song,” which took country radio by storm, skyrocketing to the top of the charts.

“We take immense pride in honoring our military and cherishing the connection we share with the Fort Drum community as we come together in celebration,” said Alissa Sykes Tulloch, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “We are thrilled to feature exceptionally accomplished female artists who will grace our highly anticipated concert stage.”
