Our Mission is to  execute the delivery of military personnel services to Active Duty Soldiers, Reserve, National Guard, Retirees, Family members, Civilian employees, and the Fort Belvoir Community with the highest standards of excellence and customer service.


Active Duty Soldiers:

Soldiers and Government Employees either assigned or projected to arrive to Fort Belvoir, should consult with their Unit S-1 or Organization Human Resources (Military) Specialist for direct points of contact for services needed. 

Reserve/National Guard Soldiers:

In-processing with Finance is as follows:

Active Duty PCS:

Finance In-processing is conducted via SMARTVOUCHER.

Reservist In-Processing:

No Cost Moves - Unit S-1s/HR reps will collect your orders/amendments and a new DA Form 5960 (if claiming With/Dependents BAH) and forward all to us. In turn we will start your new tour.

PCS Cost Moves - are processed via Smartvoucher
NOTE: in addition to the documents requested by Smartvoucher please upload a new DA 5960 as well (for those claiming BAH with Dependents).


Services within the Military Personnel Division
The Casualty Assistance Center's mission is to repay that debt through timely reporting and coordination for the provision of accurate, meaningful, and compassionate support to our soldiers and their families during casualty incidents, situations and rendering of Military Funeral Honors to those who have served.
To ensure enrollment in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS), and provide Common Access Cards (CAC) and/or Official Identification Cards to Soldiers, Family Members, Retirees as well as Civilian and Contract Employees working on Fort Belvoir.
Welcome to the Garrison Passport Services Office.
Our mission is to manage installation personnel, accounting, strength reporting and the eMILPO database for data accuracy and accepted timelines within the Department of the Army standards. Act as a liaison between Human Resources Command (HRC) and installation units to address ongoing eMILPO issues, and provide possible solutions or feedback to the installation with technical and functional support.
The Personnel Services office mission is to provide professional and diligent service to those who serve, thereby promoting Family readiness and success.
To provide support to all Permanent Party and Trainee/Student Soldiers in the following areas; Permanent Change of Station, Temporary Change of Station, Foreign Language Proficiency Bonus, Special Duty Pay, Stabilization, Deletion/Deferment requests, and No-Fee Passports.

Our mission is to educate Army and Reserve Component Soldiers about the military retirement system to include educating about retirement benefits and entitlements and provide the information needed to make appropriate and timely decisions for themselves and their families.
The mission of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP)(formerly SFL-TAP) is to deliver a world-class transition program for America’s Army that empowers members to make informed career decisions that enhances lives, communities and our nation. This program enables Soldiers to capitalize on their Army experience and skills, to either to further their military careers through reenlistment or become successful as a civilian.
