The JBLM Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) provides education and early intervention to help commanders and service members reduce lifestyle risk factors to increase healthy outcomes. We are committed to understanding our supported units and their missions, anticipating what is needed to sustain mission readiness, and proudly serving as a valued member of the commander’s battle staff.
Stone Education Center 6242 Colorado Ave., JBLM Lewis-Main
Home of the Army Continuing Education Services (ACES) program on JBLM, which provides academic advising to DOD ID Card Holders. The Stone Education center also has seven colleges on site.
Additional services at this location include a testing center and language testing, ArmyIgnitEd and college support, and tuition and VA benefits assistance.

Administrative Services 4171 West Way, JBLM Lewis-Main
The Administrative Services Division provides oversight, training, and guidance for the JBLM Document Management Program in record-keeping, Army and Air Force addresses, correspondence preparation, office symbols, official mail and distribution, forms and Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act requests.
We are a customer facing organization dedicated to supporting Service Members, Retirees, their Families, and DoD Civilians. Our workforce employs service, excellence, respect, vision, integrity, communication, and empowerment in their daily interactions with our customers, treating each interaction with dignity and respect. Our services benefit customers through:
Education Services: Army Continuing Education at Stone Education Center provides education opportunities for Soldiers to remediate, develop, and enhance skills needed for present and future jobs. The Education Center can also provide services to family members seeking assistance with their education as well. Our education specialists and guidance counselors are the experts on educational advising. ACES will help you take advantage of your tuition assistance, find the right higher education program, assist with increasing your GT score, and connect to military friendly colleges.
Transition Services: Transition services include entrance to and separation from the military; permanent change of station, deployment, in/out-processing ETS or retirement, and the transition assistance program. Through collaborative efforts with state and federal veteran’s agencies DHR can connect you to the right services at the right time based on where you are in the military life cycle. The DHR team works to reduce transition stress through answering questions thoroughly, providing accurate information, referring to other resources, and being kind, compassionate, and patient.
Support Services: The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) is a preventative program designed to help reduce risk across the installation. Through education the team strives to reduce corrosive behaviors and replace them with positive behaviors. The suicide prevention program assists commands to develop effective programs designed to connect individuals to the community, the unit, and resources. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides counselling services to civilian employees and service member dependents. Other EAP services include, individual insurance referrals, goal setting, problem-solving assistance, community referrals, consultations, screenings, and follow-up services.
