Whether you’re in-processing at JBLM, heading downrange, or preparing for retirement, the Military Personnel Division (MPD) is here to assist with your administrative heavy lifting. We take care of the paperwork so you can focus on the mission. From JBLM across seven western states, we support over 50,000 active duty, Reserve, and National Guard soldiers, your families, and our local retiree community.

Arrival & Departure | We get you squared away with In/Out-Processing and issue your ID Cards so you and your family have installation access and use of benefits and entitlements. |
Taking Care of Families | We provide immediate, respectful Casualty Assistance to support your loved ones when they need it most. |

The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) is home to the Risk Reduction & Prevention Branch, a capability that integrates directly into the commander's staff to deliver targeted early intervention and sustain overall unit combat readiness.
