The Joint Base Lewis-McChord Directorate of Emergency Services plans, directs, synchronizes, integrates, and executes Fire & Emergency Services, Law Enforcement, Physical Security, Access Control, Airfield Security, Antiterrorism/Force Protection, Operations Security, Personnel/Industrial Security, and 911 Emergency Communications on JBLM to protect service members, family members and civilians; provide layered and integrated protection of the JBLM strategic support area; enable readiness and facilitate power projection during peace time and war.

PROVOST MARSHAL OFFICE
The Provost Marshal Office is a professionally trained, positive, customer focused law enforcement and access control organization that provides full spectrum law enforcement operations; is responsive to the needs of not only the commander, but the civilian community. The Provost Marshal is committed to maintaining good order, discipline, safety and security for all those who live and work on JBLM.
FIRE DIVISION
The Fire Division is made up of highly skilled and professional emergency response teams capable of providing emergency medical services, hazardous material incident response, technical rescue, aircraft rescue and firefighting, structural and wildland fire suppression, and consequence management to mitigate the effects of both natural and man-made disasters.
