Rail operations may disrupt traffic
Fort Drum officials have announced rail operations in support of 1st Brigade Combat Team are scheduled to begin around Sept. 19 and last until around Sept. 20.
Traffic could be blocked or disrupted at the following intersections: Mount Belvedere Boulevard, Guard Lane, Conway Road, and Euphrates River Valley Road. Officials do not anticipate school bus routes being disrupted, but they recommend drivers be prepared to adjust.
Fort Drum road work map available
Fort Drum officials have released a map showing the locations of current and upcoming road work on the installation. To view the map, click HERE.
PX/Commissary remain open
during parking lot project
From Aug. 1 through Nov. 14, Public Works / Armitage / SAI-JV will perform pavement and striping upgrades to the PX/Commissary parking lot in front of Bldg. 10730. The project will improve traffic flow, allowing for larger parking spaces, two-way drive lanes, and more spaces. Curbing and drainage system repairs are included.
The PX/Commissary remain open regular hours.
Parking will be temporarily limited. Motorists should follow signage and use caution.
