JBLM Department of War Employee Hall of Fame

The Joint Base Lewis-McChord Department of War Employee Hall of Fame was established in 2025 by Lt. Gen. Matthew McFarlane as a way to honor the extraordinary dedication, professionalism and lasting contributions of the base's civilian workforce. This recognition is reserved for those whose service has gone above and beyond the call of duty and whose impact has strengthened JBLM's mission, supported its service members and enriched the greater JBLM community.

Mike Fuller (2025)     Mike Fuller dedicated over 49 years to the U.S. Army, serving as an Infantry Officer and later as a senior Department of the Army Civilian, I Corps Director Mission Support Staff. His leadership supported five I Corps Commanding Generals and shaped key initiatives in training, readiness, and personnel management. Over the course of 25 years at Fort Lewis/JBLM, he provided unwavering continuity and expertise across both uniformed and civilian roles.

John Weller (2026)    John Weller dedicated over 27 years to the U.S. Army, serving as a Field Artillery Officer and later as the Range Officer for Fort Lewis and Joint Base Lewis‑McChord. A Vietnam veteran awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, he provided trusted expertise in training management, safety, and range operations. His leadership advanced key capabilities, supported major readiness missions, and established standards that continue to shape training at JBLM today.

Deborah Manduca (2026)     Deborah Manduca dedicated over 45 years to the U.S. Army, serving in a series of senior executive support roles across Joint Base Lewis‑McChord. Beginning her career as a DoD receptionist in 1979, she advanced through key secretarial and executive assistant positions, culminating in service to multiple I Corps Commanding Generals. Her leadership, continuity, and commitment to excellence strengthened command operations and shaped ceremonial traditions, leaving a lasting impact on JBLM.
