e The Training Division's three branches (Range, Simulations, and Training Support) support the 10th Mountain Division (LI) and other military forces training at Fort Drum as they prepare for worldwide contingency operations and other assigned missions.

Range Branch personnel operate 47 live-fire ranges and 18 major training areas, while supporting more than 18,500 active-duty Soldiers of the U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division (LI) and an annual Department of Defense, Army Reserve and Army National Guard population of more than 21,500.

Simulation Branch personnel provide everything necessary from facilities and equipment to subject-matter experts for Soldiers and units that facilitate Mission Command training. This multi-faceted team is composed of representatives from all war-fighting functions.

The Training Support Branch (TSB) personnel support Soldiers and Units obtaining first-class training by providing integration and synchronization of Live, Virtual, and Construction Training Devices, Simulations, Simulators, and Training Support Services. The TSB provides Training Instructors for several Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) and Multi-Integrated Laser Engagement Systems (MILES) that are available for Soldiers and Unit training. In addition, the TSB supports Soldiers and Leader training by providing academic classrooms, full spectrum flight simulation training, and weapons training. The Photo Studio supports DA and Command Photographs and is available for historical events. The TSB also provides Installation Training Ammunition management, accountability and Ammo Handler Training.
