Child and Youth Services (CYS) provides programs and services for children of eligible military and civilian families. Within CYS you will find something to meet your children’s needs, including:
- Full, part time or hourly child care
- Before/after school care
- Camps
- Programs for your middle school and teen youth
- Instructional classes
- Workforce preparation opportunities
- Sports and fitness activities
Today’s CYS programs, deemed a "model for the nation" by Presidential acclaim, continue to operate on these cornerstones:
- Quality – Child care is DoD-certified and nationally accredited
- Availability – Child care is available on- and off-post
- Affordability – Fees for various programs are competitively priced and affordable regardless of sponsor's income
- Accountability - To safeguard the Army's resources by efficient management oversight, good fiscal stewardship, reducing waste and protecting assets of programs and services to Soldiers and their Families.
Schools
USD-207 (ON-BASE)- Fort Leavenworth School District, USD 207 is a state of Kansas school district that consists entirely on USAG Fort Leavenworth. The district teaches preschool through 9th grade, with 9-12th graders eligible for enrollment in off-base school districts. For enrollment information visit HERE ⚠ Schools on-base include:

RELIGIOUS SUPPORT OFFICE provides religious, spiritual, moral and ethical advice and services to the Combined Arms Center, Garrison, tenant organizations, and members of the military community. We perform the free exercise of religion for Service members, their Families, Department of Defense Civilians, and other authorized personnel. (HERE)
FMWR
Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) is for the Total Army Family.
We provides military families with unique and exciting events including outstanding community support with the Army Community Service (ACS) programs.
Our restaurants and clubs offer a variety of menu selections to satisfy any craving. Remember, the more you enjoy using FMWR programs, the more you enhance the quality of FMWR programs for the entire community to enjoy.
