Update for Jan. 20 for DODEA Fort Campbell Schools

Department of Defense Education Activity Fort CampbellSchools will be closed Thursday, Jan. 20, for students and staff. This includesall regular school operations and all after school sports and activities.

This is dueto icy road conditions and the closure of

Clarksville Montgomery County School System and Christian County Schools,which directly impacts staffing for DODEA schools.

DODEA Fort Campbell Schools anticipate returningto regular instruction Friday, Jan. 21.

For Jan. 20, 2022

Fort Campbell is on a delayed opening for Thursday Jan. 20, 2022. Civilian and military personnel report no later than two hours after your regularly scheduled time to arrive. Civilian employees have the option for liberal leave if applicable and approved by their supervisor. Employees of tenant organizations and contractors should contact their supervisor for instructions. Military personnel will take guidance from their commands. Emergency employees will report at regular time. Refer to the Digital Garrison app and the Fort Campbell Facebook page for the latest information.

  • Department of Defense Education Activity Fort Campbell schools and offices will have a 2-hour delay. All AM Pre-K classes are canceled.
  • Child Development Centers and School Age Centers will open at their normal time.
  • Lozada Physical Fitness Center will remain open 24/7 and the remaining physical fitness centers will open 2 hours late.
  • The Commissary will open at 9 a.m.
  • The AAFES Main Exchange and food court will open at their normal time, the 24-hour Kentucky Express will remain open; the remaining Express shoppettes, except Tennessee, will open at 8 a.m.

Based on forecasted and current weather conditions, Fort Campbell is open for limited operations and mission essential services only. Mission essential employees remain or report as directed by your supervisor. Employees of tenant organizations and contractors should contact their supervisor for instructions. Military personnel will take guidance from their commands.

  • Eagles CDC and Airborne SAC will be closed.
  • TC Freeman gate, as well as gates 7, 10, Sabre I, and Sabre II will remain open 24/7.
  • Department of Defense Education Activity Fort Campbell schools and offices will be closed Friday; this includes all after school and weekend activities.
  • The Commissary will be closed.
  • The AAFES Main Exchange will be closed, the 24-hour Kentucky Express will close Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. and reopen Jan. 7 at 9 a.m.

Only the 24/7 gates will be open - TC Freeman Gate (Gate 4)and Gates 7, 10, Sabre I and Sabre II.

CIF will be open with limited personnel.

DoDEA Fort Campbell Schools will be closed.

The Commissary will be closed.

The AAFES Main Exchange will be closed, only the 24-hour Kentucky Express will open.
