Transition Services

To transition out of Fort George G. Meade and receive your final DD Form 214, every Soldier, regardless of type of separation, must meet the following requirements:

• Attend the monthly Pre-Separation Brief (Please see Pre-Separation Brief resource below for dates. You will not receive orders until you have attended a brief.)
• Complete the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) (Call (301) 677-9871 to get started.)
• See Reserve Component Career Counselor.
