Captain Alex Polk is a native of Herndon, Virginia. He commissioned into the United States Army through ROTC while attending The Radford University, in Radford Virginia.

CPT Polk’s previous unit assignments include: Platoon Leader with the 218th Military Police Company, Executive Officer 194th Military Police Company, Operations Officer/Battle Captain 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Special Troops Battalion. His last assignment was as the Police Operations Officer for the Fort Belvoir Directorate of Emergency Services on Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  

CPT Polk’s military education includes The Sabulaski Air Assault School’s Air Assault Course, The Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School, Military Police Basic Officer Leaders Course, Antiterrorism Officer Basic Course, Crime and Criminal Intelligence analyst course, The CBRN Defense course, and The Unit Movement Officers Course

CPT Polk’s civilian education includes a Bachelor’s of Science in communications from The Radford University and a Master’s of Science in cybersecurity from Webster University.

CPT Polk’s awards and decorations include: the Army Commendation Medal (1 oak leaf cluster, C-device), Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (Bronze Star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and the NATO Service Medal

CPT Polk is married to his wife Jillian, and they have one son.

SFC Nicole Oddo is a native of Livonia, Michigan. She entered the United States Army in August of 2004 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO where she completed one station unit training and was awarded the MOS of 31B, Military Police. She has served in a variety of leadership positions to include, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Drill Sergeant, and Operations Sergeant.

SFC Nicole Oddo previous duty assignments include: 511th Military Police Company, Fort Drum, NY; United States Army Garrison Brussels, Brussels, Belgium; 108th Military Police Company (ABN/AASLT) Fort Bragg, NC; B Co, 795th Military Police Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood, MO; 16TH Military Police Brigade, Fort Bragg, NC; Provost Marshal Protection Directorate, Military District of Washington, Fort McNair, DC. Her deployments include two tours in Iraq (05-06, 07-09).

SFC Nicole Oddo military education includes the Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Drill Sergeant School, Sexual Harassment / Assault Response and Prevention Course, Master Resilience Training Course, Domestic Violence Intervention Training, Operational Security Course, and Army Retention Course. Her civilian education includes 60 hours from Purdue University.

SFC Nicole Oddo awards and decorations include the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal (5 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (5 OLC), Meritorious Unit Commendation (1 OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (4 Stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (numeral 3), Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, Combat Action Badge, and Driver’s Badge.

SFC Oddo resides with her husband Anthony and 4 children.
