SFC NICHOLAS J. HUGGINS
SFC Nicholas J. Huggins was born 12 April 1994 in Newton, IA and relocated to Lincoln, NE. SFC Huggins enlisted in the United States Army in July 2012 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO where he graduated as a Military Police Soldier in November 2012
SFC Huggins has served in a variety of leadership positions throughout his career which include Team Leader, Squad Leader, Drill Sergeant, and Operations Sergeant.
SFC Huggins’s assignments include the 4th BDE, 4th BSTB, HHC, Fort Campbell, KY; 561st MP CO Fort Campbell, KY; 10th AAMDC, 11th Missile Defense Battery, Kurecik, TU; 300th MP CO Fort Riley, KS; B CO, 1-58, 14th MP BDE Fort Leonard Wood, MO; C CO 2-10, 3rd Chem BDE, and his most recent assignment at the 212th MP DET Fort Belvoir, VA.
SFC Huggins’s awards and decorations include the ARCOM (4 OLC), AAM (6 OLC), AGCM (3rd Award), NDSM, ACM (1 campaign star), GWTEM, GWTSM, NOPDR (numeral 3), ASR, OSR (numeral 2), NATOMDL, MUC, ASUA, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, and the Air Assault Badge.
SFC Huggins’s operational deployments include Operation Enduring Freedom 2013-2014 in Afghanistan.
SFC Huggins holds an Associates of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He is continuing his education by pursuing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Cybersecurity Technology from the same institution. SFC Huggins is engaged to his lovely fiance Lauren, and they have one child together; SFC Huggins has two other children. Parker who is eight, Paisley who is four, and Madelyn who is eight months. They currently reside in Bryans Road, MD.
