Mission:
The Administrative and Civil Law Division provides a wide range of legal services to the Fort Belvoir Garrison Commander, staff, tenant, and partner organizations regarding administrative legal matters. Areas of practice include, but are not limited, to AR 15-6 and Article 32 investigation legal reviews; line of duty investigations; MWR activities; federal ethics laws; FRG activities; fundraising on post; private organizations; environmental law matters; and labor law matters.
The Administrative and Civil Law Division provides regular briefings on government ethics, acquisition ethics, and post-government employment matters. Administrative attorneys personally advise newly appointed investigating officers on FLIPLs, AR 15-6 investigations, and Article 32 investigations. The Administrative and Civil Law Division also coordinates the collection and maintenance of public and confidential financial disclosure reports.
