Chaplain (Major) Sean A. Levine

Fr. Sean Levine serves as an Orthodox Christian priest in the Orthodox Church of America. He has seminary degrees in Biblical Literature, Theology, and Divinity. He also holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.

CH Levine approaches pastoral psychotherapy from a psychodynamic perspective with the understanding that early childhood experiences shape the rest of our lives. Understanding oneself more deeply allows for the self to grow and develop, which also energizes growth in relationships. Rather than being bound to the past, understanding the past helps open the present and future into new possibilities. CH Levine has trained in psychodynamic therapies (for individuals and couples/families), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for trauma healing, Emotion Focused Couples Therapy, Prepare/Enrich pre-marital and marriage enrichment work, and Collaborative Language Systems/Narrative Therapy.

CH Levine serves as the director of the Chaplain Family Life and Training Center offering counseling and pastoral psychotherapy, and he coordinates and supervises the operations of the center and the work of other counselors and therapists.
