GLWACH Vaccination clinic
The COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic, located on GLWACH’s 6th floor, will reopen Mondays and Thursdays to provide all TRICARE and direct care beneficiaries and current DoD employees their COVID-19 vaccinations. Appointments can be made by calling the appointment line at: 866-299-4234. Visit the GLWACH Facebook page for updates and additional details on future events.
Peak season for military moves is between mid-May and August, and, according to staff at Fort Leonard Wood Army Community Service, there are a number of resources service members and their families can take advantage of before a permanent change of station. Read the full article here.
MWR is holding a Hiring Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 17 at the St. Robert City Hall. There are more than 80 vacancies available at the Outdoor Adventure Center, Rec Plex, Piney Valley Golf Course, Exchange and more. Applicants need to bring a resume, social security card, a valid photo ID, transcripts, and high school diploma. Other documents might be required based on status or job applying for. Earth Day is coming up, and Fort Leonard Wood is providing an opportunity for community members to participate in ten challenges. The challenges are family-friendly, open to anyone of any age, on-post or off-post, do not require gathering in groups, and are designed to get you outdoors to enjoy the earth and the environment. The Harper Clinic will no longer be conducting COVID-19 testing/screening. Permanent party personnel at Fort Leonard Wood (including civilians) should visit the Acute Minor Illness Clinic, open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day across from the Emergency Room at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital.
