Due to the pandemic and contract timeline requirements for locking in a fireworks show, there will be no Fourth of July ceremony, festivities or fireworks on post this year. Additionally, as a reminder, the use of fireworks by individuals on Fort Knox is strictly prohibited.
The Fort Knox community is, however, encouraged to watch a special Fort Knox feature video recognizing Independence Day, which will be posted on the installation's social media platforms July 4.
NOTE: The fireworks show originally scheduled for July 4 will now take place during Oktoberfest on Friday, Sept. 25.
