The Complaints Program

The Complaints Program exists as public law and permanent policy to ensure a discrimination free environment. The Complaints Program advises employees of their rights and procedures for redress if they have suffered discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age (40 and over), physical or mental disability, reprisal, or genetic information. The EEO Office is the first point of contact for employees and applicants for employment who believe they have been subjected to employment discrimination. This contact must be made within 45 calendar days of the alleged act of discrimination; within 45 calendar days of the time when the complainant first became aware of the alleged act of discrimination, or if it is a personnel action, within 45 calendar days of its effective date. You can contact the Complaints Program Manager at 520-945-1074.

Disability Program

The Fort Knox policy is to fully comply with the reasonable accommodation requirements of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Under the law, federal agencies must provide reasonable accommodations to qualified employees or applicants with disabilities, unless to do so would cause undue hardship. Fort Knox will strive to accommodate individuals with disabilities whether or not they are covered by the standard set forth in the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Fort Knox is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to its employees and applicants for employment in order to assure that individuals with disabilities enjoy full access to equal employment opportunity at Fort Knox. Procedures for processing reasonable accommodation requests are described in Army Regulation 690-12c: Procedures for providing reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities. For additional information you can contact the Disability Program Manager at 520-945-1089.
