Active duty military personnel stationed in South Carolina who are not SC residents are not required to pay the vehicle license tax portion of the annual vehicle registration.

Required forms
  1. Active Duty Military ID
  2. Set of Orders bringing you to Fort Jackson
  3. Current month LES
  4. Vehicle registration (title, temp registration, expired registration, or shipping documents)

* A tax exempt form WILL NOT be issued without all documents above
