The Army is focused on providing timely, quality service to Soldiers, civilians and family members throughout the PCS process –before, during and after.
The Army understands PCS moves can be stressful and is committed to assessing options to improve issuing PCS orders, managing movement of household goods, facilitating housing at receiving installations, and assisting families with childcare and spouse employment.
Transportation offices, Military OneSource, and the My Army Post app are great resources for information and support during the planning and moving process.
When a service member is authorized to conduct a full or partial personally procured move under Global Household Goods Contract, they will receive 100% of the government constructed cost.
Soldiers are reimbursed up to seven days per diem and incidentals when a moving company fails to pickup or deliver.
