The Administrative Services Division provides oversight, training, and guidance for the Fort Detrick Document Management Program in record-keeping, Army addresses, correspondence preparation, office symbols, official mail and distribution, forms and Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act requests.
The Protection Division of the Directorate of Operations executes force protection and anti-terrorism activities and training, and develops, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the status of the Fort Detrick protection and anti-terrorism program.

The Army Substance Abuse Prevention program provides education & early intervention to help commanders, civilian supervisors, and the installation community reduce lifestyle risk factors to increase healthy outcomes.
The Casualty Assistance Office provides assistance to next-of-kin of critically injured, ill or deceased service members, retirees, and veterans to include benefits counseling; military funeral honors; and Casualty Assistance / Notification Officer training.
Installation chaplains provide comprehensive religious support for the spiritual and moral needs of soldiers and airmen, other service members, family members, retirees, and authorized civilians.

ID Card/DEERS Services
The Inspector General (IG) determines the state of economy, efficiency, discipline, morale, esprit de corps and readiness of units and personnel within the USA Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC) and USA Garrison (USAG), Fort Detrick, MD. The IG is an extension of the commander; his or her eyes, ears and conscience, and a confidential advisor and fact finder. The full service IG Office provides the MRDC Commander and tenant commanders/directors a continuous objective assessment of the operational, administrative and logistical effectiveness of the command. The MRDC IG has direct access to the Commanding General and must be accessible to all MRDC subordinate commanders.
Our mission is to deliver friendly, diverse services to Soldiers, their Families, retired military, government civilians, and government contractors. Furthermore, our office provides sustainment services to maintain mission readiness of military personnel, Family members and commanders of the community.
The legal office provides legal services to service members and their families to include claims, legal assistance, tax preparation, magistrate issues (including tickets), military justice, and administrative, civil, or labor law (including investigating officer appointments).
The Post Exchange provides Soldiers and Airmen with the services and merchandise they need to make their lives more comfortable. The Exchange also maintains services and support to family members and troops back home. Service members, retirees and their families have the option to visit the Exchange.
The Provost Marshal Office is the chief law enforcement office on the installation and provides the community with 24 hour police support to maintain good order and discipline, safety and security for all those who live and or work on Fort Detrick.

The installation provides motorcycle safety training under the Installation Management Command’s (IMCOM) Army Traffic Safety Training Program contract. Course attendance is limited to active duty, reserve and guard service members (on orders), and DoD civilian employees whose job description requires motorcycle operation.
The Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program Office directs the Army's efforts in the prevention of and response to sexual harassment, sexual assault, and associated retaliatory behaviors

The Soldier for Life-Transition Assistance Program provides pre-separation counseling, transition and employment assistance services to Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve Soldiers and Airmen, Department of Defense civilians who are considering or preparing to depart the military and all work age family members of each of the above groups.
Assists and advises the Garrison and tenant activities on all security discipline matters pertaining to Personnel Security (PERSEC), Security Education Training & Awareness (SETA), and Information (INFOSEC)/Industrial (INDSEC) Security. The Security Division conducts inspections/SAVs in support of the CG’s Command Inspection Program.
The voting assistance office assists with voter information and registration and ensures all personnel have the resources, time and ability to participate in their civic duty. All service members, family members, retirees, and civilians of the community have access to the installation voting office.
Weapon registration is mandatory for all persons residing on the installation. All privately owned weapons being brought onto the installation property are also required to be registered.
