Passport Office

When orders are not available, DoD members in TDY status may request official passports using a memo in lieu of orders (template attached). This option does not apply to PCS assignments.

 

All exception requests must be submitted to the Directorate of Executive Travel (DET) via email to the DET exception option email inbox at:

usarmy.belvoir.hqda-oaa-det.mbx.exception-options@mail.mil using the correct templates. The use of https://safe.amrdec.army.mil/safe/About.aspx can be helpful when sending documents with PII that are not able to be sent

encrypted to our inbox.
