Medical Readiness & Family Travel Clearance
Complete your mandatory PCS medical screenings and family travel coordination at Barquist Army Health Clinic (Building 1434).

• Service Member Medical Screenings: Call 301-619-8934 to schedule your mandatory clearing physical/screenings.

• Family Member Travel & EFMP Coordination: Call 301-619-8818 to clear family members and coordinate Exceptional Family Member Program requirements.

Household Goods (HHG) & Transportation Clearance

Fort Meade has assumed all transportation office duties for Fort Detrick. Follow these steps to schedule and clear your household goods shipment:

Step 1: Initiate Your Shipment Online

Visit the Defense Personal Property System (DPS) Portal.

• Navigate to the "CUSTOMER" section and answer the screening questions.

• This will route your shipment to the correct management system (DPS or MilMove).

• Input your move details, upload a copy of your PCS/separation orders, and submit your completed paperwork.

Step 2: Contact Support (If Needed)
