The members of the Fort Detrick Police Department and Guard Force are committed to providing quality professional police and security guard services to the Fort Detrick and Forest Glen Communities.  We take responsibility of the mission to maintain good order and discipline of our communities, while protecting the lives and property of all residents, employees, and visitors alike.  Through positive community interactions and partnerships, we collectively work at reducing crime, while improving the quality of life at Fort Detrick and Forest Glen. We pledge to maintain a safe and secure environment for all, while emphasizing the control and prevention of crime, and by providing fair, impartial and efficient services to our community members.

Fort Detrick Gate Operations

Please have proper Identification ready prior to approaching the Security Guards. Guards are required to take physical possession of your Identification Cards in order to verify its validity. In order to expedite the verification process, please remove ID's from any ID holders, wallets, etc.
