The Fort Buchanan Training Support Center (TSC) provides a variety of training aids, devices, simulators and simulations (TADSS), as well as relevant and responsive training support, enabling commanders to accomplish training objectives, standards and successfully operate across an ever-evolving full spectrum of conflict.

Core Competencies
  • We provide Hands-on-Training for Equipment, Simulators and Devices.
  • Manage Installation Training Areas and Facilities.

  • Manage Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS), Training Support Material Army Wide Tracking System (TS-MATS), Digital Training Management System (DTMS), Range Facility Management Support System (R FMSS), and the Total Employee Development (TED) programs.

  • Provide classroom and training related products and services support to all active Army, National Guard, Reserve Components, marines, Navy, ROTC units and other federal government agencies in Fort Buchanan’s AOR.
  • Manage the Civilian Training Program Plan of Action.
  • Manage Installation Training Ammunition Program.
  • We support Garrison headquarters during contingencies in the EOC.
  • We warehouse, issue and maintain training devices such as: Machine Guns, Small Arms/Artillery Simulators, Medical Training Equipment, Infantry Devices (MILES), Long-range Acoustic Device (LRAD), Antitank Grenade Launcher, and others.
  • The TSC mission is authorized IAW AR 350-38, Training Device Policies and Management and AR 5-9, Area Support Responsibilities
  • Supports commands throughout Puerto Rico with training aids and device requirements
  • Manage & account for all TADSS within the Island of Puerto Rico
  • Provides warehousing, loan and issue of TADSS and GTAs including MILES (MILES 2000)
  • Provides training and usage of the Engagement Skills Trainer II (EST II), Mobile Marksmanship Training Simulator (MMTS), Call for Fire Trainer (CFF), Virtual Battlespace 3 (VBS3), Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH), All-Terrain Army Lifter System (ATLAS), and 660 TruckPlus Driver Simulator facilities
