TF-CBT is a three-day course for licensed clinicians. TF-CBT is an evidence-based form of therapy specifically adapted for children who have experienced trauma and who are having significant emotional and/or behavioral problems related to their traumatic life events. The first two days prepare clinicians to begin the practice of TF-CBT. The third day covers Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children: Current Findings and Implications for Practice training, which is a 1-day overview training on children who exhibit or impacted by problematic sexual behavior. This training is designed to provide an introductory understanding of normative and problematic sexual behavior in children (age 12 and under), the origins of problematic sexual behavior, myths/misconceptions about the population, evidence-based assessment and treatment strategies for children who exhibit sexual behavior problems and how professionals can support children and families affected will be discussed.
