Purpose: The purpose of this course is to provide commissioned officers, warrant officers, noncommissioned officers, enlisted personnel, and Department of the Army (DA)/Department of Defense (DoD) civilians with the skills, knowledge, and abilities required to prepare and certify radiological packages for shipment in accordance with (IAW) DA PAM 385-24.
Scope: This course teaches students how to properly identify, classify, package, mark/placard, and document/certify radiological material packages for transport according to applicable international and national governmental regulations.
Prerequisites: Active or Reserve component; Army, Navy, Marine Corp, Air Force and Coast Guard personnel either Commissioned, Warrant, or Enlisted, assigned to a duty position involving radiological packaging at the Brigade, Division, Installation or MACOM level. Civilian personnel assigned to a duty position involving radiological packaging are also eligible for this course.
Foreign Disclosure: FD1 -This training product has been reviewed by the training developers in coordination with the USACBRNS foreign disclosure representative and MSCoE foreign disclosure officer. This training product can be used to instruct international military students from all approved countries without restrictions.
