The Fire Department safeguards the health, safety and welfare of the community through code enforcement, loss prevention and effective fire prevention and public education programs.
Installation Access Control Systems
The Installation Access Control Systems offices provide IACS registration services to Department of Defense ID card holders, contractors, vendors and visitors requesting access to U.S. Army installations.

The Army Continuing Education Services' mission is to create and lead the Army's premier education organization that is committed to excellence, innovation and deployability.
The Army Substance Abuse Prevention program provides education and early intervention to help commanders, civilian supervisors and the installation community reduce lifestyle risk factors to increase healthy outcomes.
U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Casualty Program Services, as an extension of the Europe and Africa Casualty Assistance Center, assists and supports families in an emotionally stressful time of bereavement, and provides training and resources to all Soldiers serving in casualty notification or assistance and dedicated professionals assisting family members in their greatest time of need.

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is a federal law that establishes the public's right to request existing records from federal government agencies. The FOIA provides for prompt, maximum release of Department of Defense records to the public unless such requested records are specifically exempt from mandatory public disclosure under the FOIA. The Privacy Act of 1974, establishes a Code of Fair Information Practice that governs the collection, maintenance, use and dissemination of personally identifiable information about individuals that is maintained in systems of records by federal agencies.
The mission of the ID Cards and DEERS section is to ensure enrollment of all eligible Department of Defense beneficiaries into the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and to issue Common Access Cards (CAC) and Uniformed Services ID (USID) Cards to eligible stakeholders.
In-Processing and Out-Processing
The Central Processing Facility is responsible for performing the functions of in-processing, and out-processing Soldiers within the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz footprint.
Military Personnel (MILPER) Services
MILPER services include the processing of essential military personnel services for Soldiers assigned to USAG Rheinland-Pfalz tenant units. These services include: Reassignments (Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Orders, Temporary Change of Station (TCS) Deployment Orders, Consecutive Overseas Tour (COT) Travel Orders, Command Sponsorship and Family Travel, Early Return of Dependents, Foreign Language Proficiency Bonus (FLPB), Change of Tour, Officer Candidate School (OCS) Boards, Identification Tags, etc.
The Military Personnel Division's mission is to deliver friendly, diverse services to Soldiers, their families, retired military, government civilians and government contractors. Furthermore, the office provides sustainment services to maintain mission readiness of military personnel, family members and commanders of the community.
Department of Defense Affiliated personnel in Germany must apply for passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad through a Passport Acceptance Facility (PAF) located at their local U.S. military installation. This office also issues Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) cards to eligible stakeholders.
The U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz Retirement Services Program keeps retired Soldiers and their family members updated on their benefits and entitlements after retirement with the goal of ensuring retiring and retired Soldiers remain Soldiers for Life and support the Army wherever they live.

Transition Assistance Program (TAP)
The Transition Assistance Program provides pre-separation counseling, transition and employment assistance services to Active Duty, Guard and Reserve Soldiers and Airmen, Department of Defense civilians who are considering or preparing to depart the military and all work age family members of each of the above groups.
The Transition Center performs separation and pre-retirement services for Soldiers.
The Installation Voting Assistance Office assists with voter information and registration and ensures all personnel have the resources, time and ability to participate in their civic duty. All service members, family members, retirees and civilians of the community have access to voting assistance.

Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization & Security
The Army Emergency Management program is responsible for all activities and operations related to preparing for, mitigating the potential effects of, preventing, responding to and recovering from any hazard.
The Operations Division directs, coordinates and synchronizes installation garrison operations, training support, protection, mobilization and demobilization, force modernization and operational planning in order to support the Soldiers, families and civilians of the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz community.
The Security Office provides personnel security, information security, industrial security, fingerprinting and foreign travel reporting support to U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz garrison personnel and tenant organizations.

The Directorate of Public Works provides infrastructure, engineering resources, housing and facility management support and services to ensure safe, comfortable and functional facilities in a clean environment to meet the needs of Soldiers, civilians and family members within U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz.

The Logistics Readiness Center, a field operating activity under the 405th Army Field Support Brigade, provides installation logistics services to sustain unit readiness, ensure responsive force generation and improve quality of life in the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz. Functions include Installation Property Book Office, Food Service Branch, Central Issue Facility, Driver's Training and Testing Station, Personal Property Processing Office and more.

The Public Affairs Office supports U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz by communicating on behalf of the installation and its leadership providing clear, accurate, timely information to internal and external audiences. Public Affairs employs a variety of communication strategies including internal news and information products, media engagement and public outreach.
Religious Support Office
The Religious Support Office performs and provides religious support services to the U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz military community to assist the commander in his obligation to facilitate the free exercise of religion.
