UMBC Training Centers: GSA-Schedule 70
UMBC Training Centers is an active GSA-Schedule 70 awardee. This status allows UMBC to provide government agencies with discounts on group training and a simplified procurement process. UMBC Training Centers has over 70 courses available on their Schedule 70, including certification exam prep and skill-based training in IT, Cyber, Cloud, and Big Data topics.

Small Arms Ranges:
Range Safety Briefing
Conducted on the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. in bldg 235 next to Range Control.
Range Gate Hours:
Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Sep – Jan) and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Feb – Aug)
Live Fire Hours:
Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Night Fire:
One Wednesday a month from 4 - 9:00 p.m. Gates close at 9:30 p.m.

Training Areas:
Scheduling
After being certified, units will call (301) 677-7133 to verify availability of training area (Land Navigation Course, Obstacle Course, and CBRN Chamber). If the desired date is available, units will need to email a copy of the Range Safety Briefing Cards, an Operation Order (OPORD) of their training event along with Risk Assessment (DD2977) to usarmy.meade.usag.mbx.dptms-training-division@mail.mil. The Range Liaison will check the OPORD and Risk Assessment for completeness and lock in your training event. If the OPORD and Risk Assessment is are not received within three days, the requested date will be available for other units to schedule. If the OPORD or Risk Assessment are incomplete, they will be returned for customer update(s).
