The Provost Marshal Office is a professionally trained, positive, community customer focused Army law enforcement and access control organization that is responsive to the needs of not only the commander but the civilian community. The Provost Marshal Office is the chief law enforcement agency on the installation and provides the community with 24 hour police support to maintain good order and discipline, safety and security for all those who live and or work on JBLM.

The JBLM Physical Security Office provides the following services: risk assessments, program compliance inspections, intrusion detection design, and installation, maintenance, and monitoring for both Army and USAF units on Lewis Main, Lewis North, McChord Field and Yakima Training Center. The PSO also assists service members, family members, and DOD civilians in the protection, physical security and loss prevention of personnel, assets, weapons and equipment for all units assigned to the installation. The PSO also hosts the JBLM Physical Security Council.
