Office of the Staff Judge Advocate
The Fort Detrick Office of the Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) provides legal advice and written opinions to commanders and staff members on a wide variety of issues. This advice involves questions pertaining to the official operation of military organizations on Fort Detrick and under the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command.
The broad legal categories include environmental law, commercial solicitation, fundraising, interaction with private organizations, imposition of administrative sanctions, and entitlements of access to Army Community Services. These services are available to the Army units under the control of the Commanding General, USAMRMC and Fort Detrick, and other military organizations, if addressed by an interagency support agreement.

The Plans, Analysis & Integration Office (PAIO) is the Garrison Commander's staff element for strategic and management planning for the installation. PAIO provides oversight of assigned programs; conducts analytical reviews; monitors Army baseline standards; captures and enables implementation of best business practices; and identifies, tracks, and orchestrates reporting of performance measures.
Public Affairs Office
The Public Affairs Office (PAO) supports the garrison by communicating on behalf of the installation and its leadership - providing clear, accurate, timely information to internal & external audiences. We employ a variety of communication strategies- including internal news and information products, media engagement, and public outreach.

Religious Support Office
The mission of the Chapel is to foster an environment where the free exercise of religion exists for the members of all faiths, ethnic groups, genders, and age groups. Chapel activities include religious services, pastoral counseling, religious education, Bible studies, youth groups, choirs and retreats.

Resource Management Office
The Resource Management Office (RMO) Garrison develops, allocates, executes, analyzes, and reviews use of United States Army Garrison-Fort Detrick resources, and serves as the principal advisor to the Garrison Commander Fort Detrick on Program Budget Funding, Manpower and Equipment Management, Support Agreement Program, Contract Management Support, Government Travel Charge Card Program, Internal Control Program and accounting related matters.
