Mr. Scott W. Mowry became the deputy to the garrison commander for U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden in October 2019. In this position, he manages and executes a variety of installation management activities supporting U.S. Army Europe and other USAG Wiesbaden tenant units. Prior to this assignment, since March 2015, he served as the deputy G-3/5/7 for Installation Management Command – Europe where he managed strategic installation programs including the European Infrastructure Program and the special operations forces relocation to Baumholder. Additionally, Mr. Mowry served as the source selection authority for the Germany Wide Installation Security Services contract in Europe valued at more than $500 million.

Mr. Mowry began his federal civilian service career in December 1999 with the United States Postal Service as a distribution operations supervisor. He joined the General Services Administration in 2004 as the branch chief of Real Estate and director of the Oregon Service Center where he directed all building management, construction, project management, real estate, contracting and budget activities in Oregon and southwest Washington. During his tenure at GSA, Mr. Mowry was elected chairman of the Oregon Federal Executive Board in 2014 and led a group of the highest-ranking federal leaders in the Oregon District.

He is a graduate of Kennesaw State University where he graduated with honors in 2010 with a Master’s of Business Administration.
