Housing Office

Your first step when coming to Fort McCoy is to contact the Fort McCoy Housing Services Office (HSO) for all off-post, on-post and Unaccompanied Housing questions. 

Staff is available to assist all military members and Family members assigned to Fort McCoy on Permanent Change-of-Station orders. Additional services they are able to assist with include housing referral services and other local community living information. 

Additionally, all incoming military personnel are required to report to HSO at their new duty stations before making arrangements to rent, lease, or purchase off-post housing. Military members are further advised not to send monetary deposits for housing prior to contacting the HSO. 

For those leaving Fort McCoy, the HSO will assist with information about your next duty station and the availability of housing, as well as other support functions at your new location.

On Oct. 1, 2023, Fort McCoy Army Housing transitioned to the Residential Communities Initiative (RCI).
