The Fort McCoy Housing Office is available to assist all Soldiers and Family members assigned to Fort McCoy on Permanent Change-of-Station orders. Services include Family Housing provided in single-Family government quarters and Housing Referral Services for local community living.
Family Housing: 120 three- and four-bedroom homes are located approximately 10 minutes from the cantonment area. Click HERE for additional information, photos, and floor plans. Soldiers must submit a copy of orders, a DD Form 1746 (Application for Housing) and a DA Form 31 (Request and Authority for Leave) to be added to the housing waitlist. Questions regarding housing waitlist status should be directed to the Housing Office.
Single Soldier Housing: Geographical bachelors can contact the Directorate of Family Morale Welfare and Recreation for information about available apartments at www.mccoy.armymwr.com .
Referral Services: Soldiers and Family members desiring to rent a home in the local communities are encouraged to contact the Housing Office for assistance.
