Equal Opportunity Leaders Course (EOLC)

The Equal Opportunity Leaders Course is a six-day course that focuses the student on equal opportunity and diversity management. It prepares graduates to perform the duties of an Equal Opportunity Leader at both the battalion and company level. Graduates of the course will possess the skills required to advise commanders in the conduct of informal equal opportunity complaints, conduct unit level equal opportunity training, assist the commander in climate assessment, assist in the preparation of special ethnic observances, and serve as the primary resource manager of equal opportunity matters within the unit.

Location: Fort Knox Education Center, Bldg. 65, 31 Warehouse Street, Fort Knox
(45 students per class)

EOLC Course Content

Notes: the EOL Course will be held at the Fort Knox Education Center, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Students attending the course that do not arrive prior to 11 a.m. on the first day will be dropped from the course. This is an ATTRS course and anyone who fails to report will reflect as a No-Show in ATTRS. Registration forms must be submitted through your respective unit EOA to the Fort Knox EO Office. All potential students will be slotted on a first come, first serve basis. The registration packet consists of the EOLC registration form and the EOL Additional Duty Appointment Orders.

Soldiers must be SGT (P) and above to attend this course.

Level 1 EO Training Support Package (TSP)

Training is designed for level 1 (PV1 thru SPC) and focuses on, interpreting the EO program and how it relates to the Warrior Ethos, Army Values and Soldiers Creed, identifying behaviors and actions that violate and support the EO program, and identify the Army’s EO complaint process.

Intermediate Level EO Training Support Package (TSP)

Training is designed for intermediate leaders (SGT thru CPT) and focuses on, interpreting the EO program and how it relates to the Warrior Ethos, Army Values and Soldiers Creed, identifying behaviors and actions that violate and support the EO program, define roles and responsibilities in the assessment of the EO climate and prevention of EO violations, identify intermediate leader responsibilities within the Army’s EO program and the complaint process.

Senior Leader EO Training Support Package (TSP)

Training is designed for senior leaders (MAJ and above) and focuses on what the EO program is, policies, complaint process, interpreting the EO program and how it relates to the Warrior Ethos, Army Values and Soldiers Creed, identifying actions that violate the EO program, and identify actions that support the EO program.
