Environmental Division

The DPW Environmental Division, part of the Directorate of Public Works, is committed to environmental excellence in all aspects of the USAG Italy mission. The Environmental Division is responsible for management of air quality, water quality (drinking water, wastewater, and storm water), environmental restoration, hazardous materials, solid/hazardous waste, natural resources and cultural resources programs.

Environmental Division Mission

The USAG Italy Environmental Division ensures compliance with all environmental laws and regulations, and provides environmental expertise, guidance, support and liaison services for Army organizations and personnel. We are here to assist the USAG Italy community
 

Hazardous Waste

  • Hazardous wastes generated on USAG Italy must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations. Examples of hazardous wastes include but are not limited to waste fuels and oils, oil filters, paints, aerosol cans, and batteries.​​​​​​​

  • Garrison activities that routinely generate hazardous wastes are required to establish and use Hazardous Waste Accumulation Points to deposit wastes or to coordinate hazardous waste disposal with the Hazardous Waste Storage Area. 

  • Hazardous wastes can be deposited at the following locations:
    CAMP EDERLE: Bldg.84
    CAMP DARBY: Depot Bldg. 5164
    DEL DIN: Bldg. 91
