Environmental Awareness

The DPW Environmental Division, part of the Directorate of Public Works, is committed to environmental excellence in all aspects of the USAG Italy mission. The Environmental Division is responsible for management of air quality, water quality (drinking water, wastewater, and storm water), environmental restoration, hazardous materials, solid/hazardous waste, natural resources and cultural resources programs.

The USAG Italy Environmental Division ensures compliance with all environmental laws and regulations, and provides environmental expertise, guidance, support and liaison services for Army organizations and personnel. We are here to assist the USAG Italy community.

Environmental Awareness Support

• The Army observes Earth Day on April 22.  Earth Day events across the Army highlight how the Army protects land, air and water; conserves natural resources; restores Army lands; supports Army installations and training; and involves our communities.
