The DPW Environmental Division, part of the Directorate of Public Works, is committed to environmental excellence in all aspects of the USAG Italy mission. The Environmental Division is responsible for management of air quality, water quality (drinking water, wastewater, and storm water), environmental restoration, hazardous materials, solid/hazardous waste, natural resources and cultural resources programs.
Environmental Division Mission
The USAG Italy Environmental Division ensures compliance with all environmental laws and regulations, and provides environmental expertise, guidance, support and liaison services for Army organizations and personnel. We are here to assist the USAG Italy community.
Darby Environmental Program
The Darby Military Community (DMC) Environmental program is implemented daily as a part of the larger USAG Italy Environmental program. By pooling the talents of both DMC and VMC Environmental employees, we create synergies that greatly increase the positive impacts that either part could have on its own while enabling USAG Italy’s Military Mission.
