What is EEO?
The federal employment Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program is a collective umbrella of compliance and preventative, independent and collaborative programs that are the catalyst for ensuring a workforce free of discrimination, harassment (including sexual harassment), and hostile work environment. The program fosters equal employment opportunities in every aspect of employment. EEO implementation derives from the Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 1440.1 "The DoD Civilian Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program."
