Mission
Provide professional installation security and force protection through law enforcement operations, physical security support and fire & emergency services while maintaining liaison with local, state and federal agencies. As well as to provide a comprehensive and integrated emergency management system that coordinates community resources to protect lives, property and the environment through mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery from all natural and man-made hazards that may impact our Installation, Fort Huachuca community and the U.S. Army.
The Directorate of Emergency Services provides quality force protection, law enforcement, physical security, access control, fire and emergency services, and police and community liaison services to the community. It also provides oversight on installation law enforcement standards and initiatives for personnel, equipment and training. DES consists of the Law Enforcement, Fire & Emergency Services and Physical Security divisions.
If you are going into the canyons or trails in the game management areas to sightsee, bird watch, or just see a different side of Fort Huachuca, it is imperative you come to the MP station to sign out/in.
