Command Sergeant Major Kimberly D. Bergman-Gándara is a native of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Lindblom Technical High School in 1989 and entered the United States Army Reserve in June 1991. She completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, SC. Upon completion of training, she was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 42A, Human Resources Specialist and throughout her career, she was also awarded the additional MOS of F5 Postal Operations, 79R, Recruiter, and 79V, Career Counselor.
