Belvoir Commissary testing delivery June 1

BP/Amoco-branded fuel has rolled out to Fort Belvoir’s two Army & Air Force Exchange Service Express gas stations.

Fort Belvoir again participates in Bike To Work Day, May 20, by offering a pit stop to any cyclist-commuters who travel near the installation. Belvoir is one of almost 100 pit stop locations in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. The pit stop will be near Pence Gate, off Richmond Highway, in a safe spot on the right before the access control point. Pit-stop hours are 6:30-10 a.m.

In an effort to consolidate advocacy training for the Army’s legal professionals, the first Advocacy Center in the Department of Defense is set to open on Fort Belvoir, Va., in early May.
More than 60 military athletes from around the nation gathered at Fort Belvoir for a week earlier this month to train in 10 adaptive sports events before flying to The Hague and competing in The Invictus Games April 16-22.
