I grew up learning that home was not a single place, but a shared commitment to family, service, and adaptability. My father served in the Army for twenty years, and by the time I reached high school, I had moved seven times. Those moves took me to five different states and to Germany twice. Those experiences shaped how I understood the world long before I had words for it.

Fort Belvoir Families have been reaping the benefits of an innovative Fort Belvoir program that has recently been awarded by the National Alliance of Youth Sports. The program covers many areas that are helping young children build that all-important foundation that can help forge healthy habits and lead to embracing active lifestyles.

This public notice, in accordance with 32 CFR 179.5, invites the public, regulators and other stakeholders to review the updated MRSPP scores for numerous munitions response sites until January 24, 2026.

The Fort Belvoir Religious Support Office hosted Financial Peace University this Fall, offering soldiers, Families, retirees, and civilians a practical guide to financial readiness and stewardship. The nine-week course met on Tuesday evenings from September through mid-November 2025, at Woodlawn Chapel. Many families successfully established emergency funds and couples enjoyed healthier financial communication. They noted that these improvements were both practical for everyday life and spiritually meaningful to their families.

Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PM FPS) and Product Manager Biometrics (PM Biometrics) employees recently came together to support local service members and their families through a food drive benefiting the Army Community Services (ACS) food pantry at Fort Belvoir, Va.
