The Army recently expanded the reimbursement policy and fellowship program for military spouses to promote career continuity, financial stability, professional fulfillment, talent retention and support overall military readiness.
As part of the Unified Command response to the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Navy Supervisor of Salvage and Diving today restored the Fort McHenry Federal Channel to its original operational dimensions of 700 feet wide and 50 feet deep for commercial maritime transit through the Port of Baltimore.

Military spouses can now be reimbursed for up to $1,000 for certain business costs they incur when moving to a new base, under policies finalized by all but one of the service branches.

The District of Columbia National Guard conducted a joint training event for its 372nd Military Police Battalion and 113th Security Forces Squadron at Fort Belvoir, Va. May 17 - 19, 2024.
