Fort Belvoir’s Army Community Services is hosting Operation Sugarplum, which allows E-5 service members who are stationed at Fort Belvoir to receive AFEES and Commissary cards for gifts and food this holiday season

The Mount Vernon – Lee Chamber of Commerce honored first responders from throughout Fairfax County at the 17th Annual Police & Firefighter Tribute in Springfield, Friday. Fort Belvoir Fire and Emergency Services honored three outstanding team members at the event, and the Directorate of Emergency Services honored six of its own Police officers and Security Guards at the banquet at Hilton Springfield.

The 2022 Fort Belvoir Combined Federal Campaign began Thursday, with a chili cook off in DHR’s conference center, to promote and support giving on the installation through a program that is employee-focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all employees and retirees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
