DALLAS – Throughout April, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is saluting America’s youngest heroes worldwide with free events, activities and an exclusive sweepstakes during the Month of the Military Child.

Fort Belvoir kicked off its Army Emergency Relief (AER) Annual Fund Drive March 1 at the USO Warrior and Family Center, where attendees were urged to support the U.S. Army’s official nonprofit organization which has been serving Soldiers and Families since 1942.

The appointment of Sandra Day O'Connor was a childhood inspiration for Jill O'Connor, and was so enduring that she eventually became General Counsel for the Missile Defense Agency at Fort Belvoir.

The Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony for an autism-friendly sensory room named in honor of Gavin Blair, February 15, 2024. The sensory room offers a calming space with sensory-friendly elements to alleviate patients' fears and anxieties. By providing a safe and welcoming environment, the goal is to enhance the healthcare experience for individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
