Effective September 1, Central Issue Facility (CIF) will no longer issue or accept turn in items. They will only be open for direct exchange (DX) for damaged items or exchanges.
After September 1, all Soldiers, KATUSAS and emergency essential civilians must travel to CIF at Camp Casey or Camp Humphreys to be issued gear and to turn in gear.

CYS will continue to be present at USAG Yongsan until Summer 2020. The CDC (ages 6 weeks-5 years) is open for full day care as well as SAC (grades 1-5 for before and after and non-school day care) and middle and high school recreation after school.
The Yongsan Commissary carries a wide variety of grocery items. The commissary also offers fresh deli sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, baked goods and cakes available all day.

The Yongsan DFAC is the facility of choice for Soldiers stationed at Yongsan
Directorate of Emergency Services (DES): Provide quality force protection, law enforcement, physical security, access control, fire/emergency services and police and community liaison services. They also run the pass & Id section for vehicle registration and deregistration.
Directs, coordinates, synchronizes, and integrates installation operations and training support activities, while providing force protection, mobilization and demobilization, force modernization, operational planning, and emergency operations functions to provide a focused operating and training environment for the commander and tenant organizations.
The DPW is the Garrison's primary element for maintenance of the installation, infrastructure, and the environment. DPW consists of five Public Works Divisions: Master Planning; Business Operations and Integration; Housing Management; Environment and Natural Resources; and Engineering / Energy.

The Eighth Army Inspector General team’s mission is to support Soldiers, DOD Civilians, and Family Members. Our Area I and Area II legal assistance portfolio is expanding in other areas, to include assisting victims of domestic violence, advocating for tenants in privatized housing, and advising on special education issues. The Yongsan main library is closed, but you can check out books and DVDs or use the computer lab at the Soldier Recreation Center at Bldg. 4275.

MPD Reassignments
The PAIO team of Management and Program Analysts are responsible for conducting installation strategic planning, providing information management support, and performance evaluation of base operations, essential services, and programs in support of USAG Yongsan-Casey soldiers, Families, civilians and retirees.
The AAFES Post Exchange (PX) serves the immediate community consisting of Yongsan Main and South Posts and K-16.

The Public Affairs Office supports the installation by communicating on behalf of the installation and its leadership - providing clear, accurate, timely information to internal & external audiences. We employ a variety of communication strategies- including internal news and information products, media engagement, and public outreach.
The last service at Yongsan was held at the end of 2019. Beginning in 2020, transportation to the K-16 chapel will be available from Yongsan. There are many off-post English services nearby and information about those churches are available on this website.

The Non-DoD Schools Program (NDSP) provides academic support and funding for the education of authorized command sponsored dependents of the U.S. Department of Defense military members and civilian employees assigned to overseas areas where no U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity
School (DoDEA) is available.
Car Inspections are no longer offered at Yongsan as of July 15, 2019.
