Transformation and Base Closure

USAG Yongsan-Casey’s mission is to support U.S. and Republic of Korea Government agreements to transform the U.S. Army footprint in accordance with the Yongsan Relocation Plan signed in 2004 and the Land Partnership Plan signed in 2002 while maintaining readiness.

 

The desired end-state for transformation in Korea is to relocate Service Members from installations in (or) north of Seoul to two enduring hubs; Pyeongtaek and Daegu.
